Runner Rehabilitation

Over the years, we have realized that runners have not been treated adequately. Often, they get the advice to simply stop running and rest. However, resting isn’t going to solve the actual problem. It may allow for the symptoms to calm down, but the way that you’re moving once you return to running hasn’t changed if it hasn’t been addressed properly. This can result in repeated injury and long-term frustration.

The reason why endurance athletes tend to have pain or injury on one side and not the other – despite running the same number of miles on both – is due to repetitive microtrauma. It’s a subtle change in the way that you move that begins to place more stress on certain parts of your body.

Identifying these subtle movement impairments is our specialty and we can help you uncover the real source of your pain. We’ll address the underlying issues causing the movement impairment and give you clear plan to help you return to running.

LIMITS DON’T DEFINE YOU - YOUR RESILIENCE DOES.
